POMONA, Calif. – Bob Tasca III of Hope, RI and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Funny Car Team won the Auto Club NHRA Finals this evening (Nov. 14). As a result, Tasca vaulted into third place in the final 2021 NHRA Nitro Funny Car standings, setting a personal best. After waiting out some afternoon showers, Lee USA Speedway presented round two of the Norm Wrenn III Triple Crown on Friday night, featuring the four NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series divisions, along with special appearances by the Pro-4 Modifieds and the Northeast Classic Lites as part of the 2021 edition of the Norm’s Birthday event.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. May 9, 2021. Ma Nature smiled on Grandview Speedway Saturday night and allowed a Mom’s Night NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tripleheader to be completed with Duane Howard battling with Jesse Leiby in the T.P. Trailers 358 NASCAR 30-lap Modified feature beginning on the 15th lap. The veteran campaigner tried to dive underneath the rookie and later attempted the outside trek, but each attempt failed. Finally on the 22nd lap, the six-time point champion got past Leiby and went on to take the win. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted its first scheduled Friday night race of the 2021 season with a Stafford Weekly Series program on Friday, May 7th. Michael Christopher outdueled Keith Rocco to win the SK Modified® feature, while both Michael Bennett and Derek Debbis both made it two-for-two in 2021 by winning the Late Model and SK Light feature events respectively. Rich Hammann scored his first career Stafford feature victory in the Limited Late Model feature, and Travis Hydar won the Street Stock feature. (more…)
