The Late Model field will take to the track this Friday night, September 5th for their extra distance classic with 4-time Stafford Late Model champion Adam Gray leading the field. 2025 has been a self-admittedly up and down year for the driver of the #97 Meadows Motor Cars Chevrolet, but Gray will be looking to post a solid finish to kick off the final four races of the season.

(1 September 2025) – Over Labor Day Weekend, Lime Rock Park hosted the 43rd edition of the track-produced event known as Historic Festival, a five-day celebration of motorsport heritage that drew the largest collection of vintage cars in the circuit’s modern history. With 38 races from nine race groups, three special exhibitions from the Ragtime Racers, more than 300 race entries, 125 parade participants, dozens of collector cars on display and nearly 1,000 rare classic vintage automobiles and motorcycles that participated in Sunday in the Park, the storied Connecticut circuit became a rolling museum of speed and history.

Just five races remain in the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season as the series returns to historic Oswego Speedway in New York for the running of the Toyota Mod Classic 150 this Saturday night (8 p.m. ET on FloRacing).
Saturday’s race marks the Modified Tour’s 18th visit to Oswego, with the first four visits occuring in 1988. Brian Ross captured the first two checkered flags at the track, with Mike McLaughlin and George Kent Jr. capturing the next two at the 0.625-mile oval.

My local station WKYT reports that (s)ocial media claims that the Kentucky Speedway was “abandoned” sparked tresspassing that led to dozens of arrests, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.
It was several months that TikTok, Instagram and Facebook influencers broke into the speedway, the sheriff’s office explained.
The influencers made videos with claims that Kentucky Speedway was abandoned, the sheriff’s office said.
That is not the case, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office emphasized.
