Justin Allgaier’s 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season didn’t start out the way he had hoped. In five races, the driver of the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet had only one top-10 finish. Allgaier had been involved in various on-track incidents and started the season at Daytona International Speedway by starting second and finishing 28th. But he turned that all around at Atlanta Motor Speedway last weekend by winning the race and taking home his first victory of the season all while punching his ticket to the Playoffs. (more…)

NASCAR Xfinity Series News & Notes – Phoenix Raceway

AJ Allmendinger took the lead on the final restart of Saturday’s race in Sin City with 12 laps remaining and earned his fourth Xfinity Series win in the last 16 races. This was his first race at the track in three years and the No. 16 Kaulig Chevrolet was able to hold off a hard-charging Daniel Hemric, who led 74 of the 200 laps. (more…)

With a single tweet Monday night, Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis sent NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series teams’ graphics departments into high gear.

He simply said, “Which @NASCAR_Trucks are unsponsored this weekend? Respond here if you are and if you know of someone get their attention quick.”

Ty Gibbs, grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs, made history last weekend at the Daytona Road Course. Gibbs, who was making his first career start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, won the race in the No. 54 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing and added his name to the list of drivers that won in their first Xfinity start. Reuse Brothers to Compete in Partial Truck Series Schedule for Jordan Anderson Racing in 2021

STATESVILLE, N.C. (February 18, 2021) – Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) announced today that brothers Bobby Reuse and Roger Reuse from Birmingham, Alabama will split a partial season driving the organization’s flagship No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series (NCWTS) in 2021.

Bobby will make his initial NCWTS start Feb. 19 at the Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway Road Course in the BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 with support from the restaurant chain I Heart Mac & Cheese and More, along with JAR team partners Bommarito Automotive Group and Lucas Oil. Jordan Anderson Racing NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race Overview- Daytona

Unlike most races held in 2020, qualifying will be held for the 2021 season opening NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona International Speedway (DIS). Single truck single lap qualifying will set the starting grid for the 100-lap race later in the evening. Qualifying will be shown LIVE on FS1 at 3:10 PM ET Friday, February 12, 2021. Anderson is locked into the 36-truck field based on finishing in the top-30 in owners points from 2020. 46 trucks are entered for the event. (more…)
