WINCHESTER, N.H. – The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour may have one more weekend off before they return to racing at Monadnock Speedway on June 18, but the momentum coming off a busy month of May isn’t going anywhere. The Whelen Modified Tour is filled with storylines from top to bottom – from a substitute driver entering Victory Lane two races in a row, to a first-time winner, a shake-up at the top of the point standings, and a few surprises along the way.

Another action-packed evening of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and family fun is headed to Riverhead Raceway Saturday June 11th with a School Bus Figure Eight race highlighting a eight division program. The INEX Legend Race Cars will kick off their 2022 Miller Lite Triple Crown Series with a 30-lap feature event with time trial qualifying to set a majority of the field. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to racing action with a Kids Night / Weekly Series program on Friday, June 3rd. The kids big wheel race was won by Adam Gray’s 6-year-old son Jacob. Stephen Kopcik came up a winner for the second consecutive week in the SK Modified® feature while it was a big night for the Gray family as Adam Gray won the Late Model feature and his 6-year-old son Jacob won the Kids Big Wheel race. It was a magical night September 19th, 1992 at Riverhead Raceway with an ending not even the best Hollywood script writer could have ever imagined. Prior to the ’92 NASCAR Modified season at Riverhead Raceway, Harbach, then 55 announced that year would be the last of his storied 40 plus year driving career. In typical “Flying Dutchman” fashion Fred not only went out and won his final race but sewed 1992 NASCAR Modified championship to boot in his final race. (more…)
