With two feature wins to his credit Brett Kressley continues to lead the T.P.Trailers NASCAR Modified point standings at Grandview Speedway while Kenny Gilmore, without benefit of a feature win, is sitting on top in the T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman. Add another driver to the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff conversation. Brett Moffitt switched his points eligibility from the Truck Series to the Xfinity Series.

At the time of the switch, Moffitt sat in 15th place in the Truck Series point standings, 37 points below the playoff cut line. Now, he enters Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway with zero points in the Xfinity Series. (more…)

NASCAR Xfinity Series News & Notes – Talladega Superspeedway

The NASCAR Xfinity Series was off last weekend as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Cup Series took on Richmond Raceway. Prior to that, the NASCAR Xfinity Series was in Martinsville, Virginia for the Cook Out 250. The race was postponed after weather took over during the originally scheduled start on Friday. The race was rescheduled for Sunday, April 11 and the series crowned another first-time winner in JR Motorsport’s driver Josh Berry. (more…)

With two races completed in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Racing Series at Grandview Speedway Brett Kressley is on top in the T.P. Trailers Modifieds and Kenny Gilmore leads the standings for the T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman. A third class of competition, not part of the NASCAR sanctioned events, has Glenn Strunk leading in the new 602 Sportsman division which will be seen in a handfull of races this season.
