Layne Riggs Returns to the Kansas Speedway with Infinity Communications
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 24, 2024) – Layne Riggs returns to the Kansas Speedway this weekend with Infinity Communications in search of his third straight win.
In the last four races, Riggs has earned two 5th-place finishes and two wins, most recently at the Bristol Motor Speedway last Thursday. RWR Acquires Corey LaJoie From Spire, Spire Procures Justin Haley From RWR
BRISTOL, Tenn. (Sept. 20, 2024) – With eight races left on the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series calendar, two teams are making changes for the remainder of the season.
Rick Ware Racing (RWR) has acquired driver Corey LaJoie from Spire Motorsports, and Spire Motorsports has procured driver Justin Haley from RWR. Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway will be the last race for each driver with their current organizations. Beginning with next weekend’s Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, LaJoie will take over the No. 51 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for RWR, and Haley will drive the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 19, 2024) – Kansas Speedway’s NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race on Sept. 29 has a new name. The track announced today that the race will now be called the Hollywood Casino 400 presented by ESPN BET.
ESPN BET is PENN Entertainment’s online sportsbook that is live in Kansas. Additionally, Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is rebranding its physical sportsbook to become “ESPN BET Sportsbook” this month. The casino has been the entitlement partner of Kansas Speedway’s fall NASCAR Cup Series race since 2011, and the excitement it produces continues to grow.

Kyle Larson won the race while Corey Lajoie came in 26th with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 28th while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended his day in 34th. Corey LaJoie is the son of Two-Time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT before moving to the Charlotte, NC area in order to be at NASCAR’s Center.
Kansas Speedway Sets the Stage for the NASCAR Cup Series
In the heartland of America, groundbreaking for Kansas Speedway was held on May 25, 1999. The official opening of Kansas Speedway was in 2001, with the first NASCAR Cup Series race being held on September 30, 2001. The first Kansas Cup event was won by Hendrick Motorsport’s driver and NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon (Chevrolet). After a two-week break, the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series returns to competition this Saturday at Kansas Speedway for the Heart of America 200 (May 4, at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio), the eighth race of the 2024 season.
