North East, Pa. – (September 17, 2024) – Luke Baldwin of Mooresville, NC, who won the Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams “King of the Modifieds” race earlier this season at South Boston (VA) Speedway will be competing at Lake Erie Speedway in the “Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing” this Sunday in the VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250.
It will be Baldwin’s first visit to the facility aboard his families famous 7NY racecars, which are now owned by his father, Tommy, Jr.
Barre, VT — The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers kicked-off Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Championship Night at Thunder Road with a pair of cautions to start feature racing on Friday. Ty Delphia broke away with the early lead as Mike Martin dropped back with mechanical woes under the hood. A murderer’s row behind him had hard-charging Kyle Streeter and Brandon Gray quickly pull up to Delphia’s rear bumper with Mike MacAskill also digging deep looking for his first win of the season. Sadler-Stanley Racing will return to the track this Sunday for the third race of the SMART Modified Tour season at South Boston Speedway.
Along with the prestige of winning a race on the SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic, this event, titled the King of the Modifieds, is worth $20,000 to win – set to take place on Sunday, March 24. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, but moved to Sunday due to poor weather forecasts.

Barre, VT — Setting the stage for Sunday’s 45th Labor Day Classic 200, the rain-delayed Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night program went off with a bang on Friday. The performance of the Regera has been proven over the years on the road and on the track with several lap, acceleration, and braking records, and now it has again broken the 0-400-0 km/h and 0-250-0 mph records for the second time, managing this ultimate test of acceleration, speed, and braking in an astonishing 28.81 seconds for km/h and 29.60 for mph.
