ARCA Menards Series Returns At Talladega
The ARCA Menards Series will resume its 2020 schedule with a return to the race track at Talladega Superspeedway.
The General Tire 200 at Talladega will run on Saturday, June 20, at 2 p.m. ET, and air live on FS1.
“Talladega Superspeedway holds a unique and special place in ARCA’s history, and we are eager for the ARCA Menards Series to return to action on June 20 at Talladega,” said ARCA Racing President Ron Drager. “We will continue to work closely with the industry to ensure a safe return to racing, and we look forward to sharing the return dates for the ARCA Menards Series East and ARCA Menards Series West in the coming days.”

The General Tire 200 was originally scheduled for Friday, May 22, but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
All ARCA Menards Series, ARCA Menards Series East and West races through May 21, have postponed as series officials continue to work with tracks and local government officials to determine new race dates.
The ARCA Menards Series continues working on rescheduling races slated for Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Michigan International Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway in June. The ARCA Menards Series event at Iowa Speedway remains scheduled for July 18, as part of the NTT IndyCar Series weekend.
Michael Self won the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 8, and Chandler Smith picked up the win at Phoenix Raceway on March 6. Self leads Hailie Deegan by 12 points in the championship.
Sam Mayer won both the ARCA Menard Series East and West openers, at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway and The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, respectively.
eNASCAR Heat Pro League Returns For Season Two After Successful 2019 Debut
Series Kicks Off Tonight at Virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway; Full Season Streamed on eNASCAR.com
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 22, 2020) – NASCAR, Race Team Alliance and Motorsport Games announced today the highly anticipated eNASCAR Heat Pro League™ season two kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. ET at virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway. The series will again be streamed on eNASCAR.com, as well as NASCAR Heat’s Twitch and Facebook.
“The eNASCAR Heat Pro League debut last year highlighted the significant opportunity for our esports platforms,” said Tim Clark, senior vice president and chief digital officer, NASCAR. “We’re excited about season two, and in the midst of this sport’s hiatus, we’re proud those platforms can help fill that void for our fans.”
The 2020 season features 14 races at tracks across the NASCAR circuit, including Eldora Speedway, Road America and Iowa Speedway, with gamers showcasing their skills in all three of NASCAR’s national series. The 14-race season is broken up into three four-race segments, with one driver per platform (Xbox One™ and PlayStation®4) capturing a spot in the Championship race as well as a shot at the $200,000 prize pool. In addition, a final wildcard event at the virtual Daytona International Speedway in July will allow for two more drivers to secure their Championship hopes.
“eNASCAR Heat Pro League competition helps create yet another opportunity for teams across NASCAR to engage with fans and grow their presence in the evolving esports space,” said Dmitry Kozko, CEO, Motorsport Games. “With an increased prize pool to $200,000 and a new schedule format, competitors and teams have more on the line this season, and the racing is sure to show it.”
The eNASCAR Heat Pro League will once again offer gamers the opportunity to race for one of 14 NASCAR teams, with all of last year’s teams returning. Prior to the virtual draft on April 8, organizations were required to clear at least one roster spot from last year. Chip Ganassi Gaming, GoFas Gaming and Joe Gibbs Gaming elected to start with fully clean slates. Teams had a pool of 48 gamers to choose from, with the draft order determined by inverse point standings from last season. Draft results and team rosters can be found here.
The debut season of the eNASCAR Heat Pro League produced over one million live views of its race broadcasts and numerous live events throughout the year, including a live draft at Phoenix Raceway, an in-person race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Championship finale at NASCAR’s Arena 43 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The eNASCAR Heat Pro League features 28 gamers from 14 teams, each owned and operated by prominent NASCAR race teams. Each team fields two drivers, one racing on Xbox One™ and the other on PlayStation®4, all competing for a shared championship. The eNASCAR Heat Pro League transitioned to NASCAR Heat 4, the latest game in the NASCAR Heat franchise, last September, prior to the 2019 playoffs.

Cherry Vanilla Coke may be the newest addition to the company’s product lineup, but research shows it’s a pair of flavors its fans have combined on their own using the already existing Cherry Coke and Vanilla Coke products – the equivalent of more than 105 million cans of “Cherry Vanilla Coke” since 2017. That’s nearly a can a minute over a three-year span, and the research shows the combination has proven to be most popular on Christmas Day and the month of April.
This weekend, they’ll take to the track where, in his three previous Cup Series appearances, Suárez has a best start of fourth in 2018 with Joe Gibbs Racing and a best finish of 10th from the fifth starting position last season with Stewart-Haas Racing. In two Xfinity Series outings at Atlanta, both with the Gibbs team, he has a best start of third and best finish of seventh, both en route to the series title in 2016. In a pair of NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races at Atlanta, he has a best start and finish of fourth in 2015 driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports.
