The 52nd annual Freedom 76 put an exclamation point on another season of T.P. Trailer Modified racing Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, and it will be a race and night remembered for a long time, as Craig Von Dohren of Oley, Pa. was able to score the win in the annual classic, his first since 2015, that was a competitive thriller from start to finish. Barre, VT — With inclement weather being predicted for Sunday, the Fall Foliage weekend has been combined into an epic Saturday afternoon showdown. Both the American-Canadian Tour Fall Foliage 200 and the $1,000 to win, 50 lap championship event for the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers have been moved to Saturday, September 17th alongside the originally scheduled Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model and Modified events. THOMPSON, Conn. – Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park returned to oval track racing on Wednesday, September 14 and it was a familiar face in Victory Lane when the night was over. NASCAR National Series standout and former track champion Ryan Preece returned to Connecticut in his own No. 40 Modified and pulled away from the field in the final laps to score the $5,000 prize in the Tripoint Showdown 75. SEEKONK, Mass. — One down, two left to go in the inaugural Seekonk Speedway Drive For The Cup presented by Sunoco Race Fuel. This Friday and Saturday night, the playoffs heat up with round two, as the Final Four will be set in all nine of Seekonk’s divisions looking ahead to the finale weekend on September 23-24.
Barre, VT and Naples, ME — For the final time on a Wednesday night in 2022, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park will roar back to life tomorrow, September 14. The .625-mile oval will play host to another round of action for the Outlaw Open Modified Series in the Tripoint Showdown 75, worth $5,000 to the winner. The event also includes double feature races for the Limited Sportsman (20 laps each), along with the Late Models, Mini Stocks and SK Light Modifieds.

Woodstock, NH — In the closest title fights at White Mountain Motorsports Park in recent memory, the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers come down to one final round on Sunday, September 18th during Fall Foliage weekend. Barre, VT — After taking a week off, the American-Canadian Tour returns to their Granite State home at North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 44th Fall Foliage 200. The extra-distance, $5,000-to-win Fall Foliage event is the final of three at the New Hampshire oval for the American-Canadian Tour in 2022 and comes at a pivotal time of the season.
For Johnny Clark, Sunday at Spud Speedway with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models was deja vu.
Back in 2010, Clark drove through the field to take the win in the series’ first-ever trip to the Caribou, Maine facility. A dozen years – and three of his seven PASS championships – later, Clark provided an encore performance. (more…)
