Max Zachem was the big winner of the night, taking the checkered flag in the NAPA SK 5k to score his first career feature victory at Stafford Speedway in any division.

Barre, VT – In a night filled with Thunder Road favorite events, none could beat the annual Port-a-Potty Grand Prix. A Ken Squier Original, the three point leaders and a chosen Road Warrior crew lined up for the annual test of man, crew and endurance at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. While Kyler Davis took home the Golden Plunger for the best appearing potty, Sam Caron took home the Golden Throne toilet seat prize as first across the Thunder Road two-ply finish line.

Barre, VT — The time has come once again for the return of the longest point-counting event of the summer season for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour as they invade New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250! The $10,000 to win showdown will once again pit the local hot-shoes versus the Touring stars and the Quebec invaders for the title fight of the summer season!
More than 70 race cars will be at North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway for Saturday’s massive “Throwback Classic” presented by FloRacing for the zMAX CARS Tour. $50,000 is on the line for the Late Model Stock Cars, while $30,000 is available for the winner of the Pro Late Model race, which makes Saturday the highest paying night in the history of pavement Late Model racing in America.

N. Woodstock, NH — A great crowd filed into White Mountain Motorsports Park Saturday night for the second round in the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series. The Kid’s Bike and Scooter giveaway also called in the kids and families to experience a fun night at the races!
The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers got Saturday’s showcase off and running with Nate Hamblett taking off with the lead under the green flag. A stalemate battle for fourth between Logan Powers, Tyler Pepin, Matt Potter and Shane Sicard finally broke by the halfway point with Sicard running away to chase down Hamblett. Without the aid of a caution flag, Sicard could only settle for second with Nate Hamblett walking away for his second career Flying Tiger win with Luke Peters rounding out the podium.

Thunder Road World Famous Port-a-Potty Grand Prix Pits Championship Hopefuls for the Golden Toilet Seat!
Barre, VT – Thursday night’s showcase at Thunder Road kicks off an important stretch of racing to both round out the month of July and kick-off an exciting month of August. The annual WDEV Radio/Calkins Portable Toilets Night on Thursday, July 31 is headlined by both the Squier Cup Championship 100 presented by Milton CAT and the late, great Ken Squier’s World Famous Port-a-Potty Grand Prix!

Joseph Srigley of TobyChristie reports that Stewart Friesen, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has been transported to a local hospital following an accident in a Super DIRTcar Series event at Autodrome Drummond on Monday.
The incident occurred during a feature event at the Drummondville, Quebec-based racetrack when Friesen was in a three-wide battle and went wide on the straightaway, sending his Halmar International-sponsored machine up the racetrack and towards the barrier.
