Barre, VT – The mighty Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series is ready to make its 4th annual trip to the Nation’s Site of Excitement, Thunder Road for the Granite City 100 as part of the 62nd running of the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic this Sunday, May 25!
The Modifieds have a long but often underrated history in the Green Mountain State. The powerful NASCAR Modifieds were first introduced to Thunder Road in 1965 in a short head-to-head season with the Flathead V-8 Coupes that put the Nation’s Site of Excitement on the map in the early days of Thursday Night racing at the facility. The Modifieds were short-lived to the Spring of ’65 with Coupe drivers and fans alike nearly in revolt but found a home in the often-remembered Catamount Stadium for several seasons afterward while making here-and-there appearances at Devil’s Bowl and Thunder Road over the years.

N. Woodstock, NH — Following the rain on HK Powersports Opening Weekend, White Mountain Motorsports Park officials spent Monday morning reshuffling the 2025 schedule. The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Spectacular originally scheduled for Sunday, May 18 has been moved to Sunday, July 27 and will still include the PASS Modifieds and the New England Supermodified Series. Unfortunately the NELCAR Tour cannot make the July 27 show with prior commitments but the Legends and Bandoleros return to White Mountain on May 31 and September 6.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted Weekly Racing on Friday, May 16th with SK Lights taking part in a special 30-lap extra distance feature. The night saw Keith Rocco win the 40-lap SK Modified® feature in a thrilling finish between himself, Jon Puleo, and Michael Christopher, Jr. that saw several lead changes and a 3-wide move in the final laps before Rocco came away with the checkered flag. Other winners on the night were Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Aaron Plemons in the Street Stock feature. Varricchio, Hovey, and Clement were all repeat winners from NAPA Spring Sizzler® Weekend.

The Friday Night Lights ¼-mile special will feature Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, US Air Force Legends, Pest Doctor Front Runners, and CP Race Wear Bandoleros— all battling for early points in their first official 2025 championship night.
Kaden Honeycutt dominated The Reverend Sour Mash Whiskey 75 zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model race Thursday night at North Wilkesboro Speedway after starting from the pole. The Bridge City, Texas, native claimed the checkered flag, holding off a hard-charging Dawson Sutton and Keelan Harvick, who finished second and third respectively.
