Oxford, ME — Seventeen American-Canadian Tour Flying Tigers made the trek across Route 2 to Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday morning, all looking for one last shot at victory lane in the 2023 season. Barre, VT — For just the third time in their legendary history, the American-Canadian Tour Flying Tiger division is returning to Oxford Plains Speedway for a 75-lap showdown as part of the action-packed PASS 400 weekend at the iconic Maine oval on Saturday, October 14.
Thompson, CT — While sunshine brought fans and teams back to Thompson Speedway in droves to wrap up the 2023 season at the 5/8-mile oval, both groups were also welcomed with good news. It was announced at the drivers meeting on Sunday that the partnership between the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series organizations will continue to lease the Thompson Speedway oval for the 2024 season. Mads Østberg completed the FIA European Rally Championship’s 70th-anniversary season in style by winning the fourth edition of Rally Hungary on Sunday.
Co-driven by Patrik Barth in a Pirelli-equipped Citroën C3 Rally2, Østberg was in second place when long-time leader Miklós Csomós crashed out of his home round of the ERC on the penultimate stage. (more…)
Thompson, CT — Although rains dampened much of Friday’s planned mid-day practice sessions, the 61 Sunoco World Series was able to start off with a bang as the Milton CAT Modified Racing Series and Mighty Mini Stock Tour were both able to crown their touring champions and the Thompson Late Models saw a return champion in victory lane. Throw in some vintage racing, a hard-nosed open Street Stock showdown and the first of three Sunoco Modified events, the 61st Sunoco World Series began in great style! (more…)
