(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted Weekly Racing on Friday, August 11th with 5 divisions of racing action. David Arute scored his first win of the 2023 season with a dominating drive in the SK Modified® feature, Kevin Gambacorta took his fourth win of the season in the Late Model feature, Meghan Fuller was a career first-time winner in the SK Light feature, Rich Hammann used a last lap pass to pick up his first win of the season in the Limited Late Model feature, and Travis Hydar scored his fourth win of the season in the Street Stock feature. Todd Owen Wins 10th Annual NAPA Auto Parts SK 5k at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the biggest and richest SK Modified® race of the 2023 season on Friday, August 4th with the 10th Annual NAPA Auto Parts SK 5k. Todd Owen came up the big winner of the night by taking the lead from Noah Korner on lap-75 of 80 and leading the rest of the way to take home the $5,000 winner’s check which will balloon to over $7,300 with contingency bonuses from the Gambler’s Challenge and track contingency partners added in.

Joey Cipriano Primed for First Open Modified Win in GAF 80 at Stafford

After a fifth place finish in the CBYD 81 held back in May in his first race with a new chassis and engine combination, Cipriano is feeling good about his chances of driving his #51 Bass Plating car to NAPA Victory Lane in the GAF Roofing 80, scheduled for this Friday, July 7^th at Stafford.

NASCAR Cup Round 2: Atlanta Motor Speedway Will Be ‘Under the Lights’

This Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series will be returning to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart (July 9 at 7 p.m. ET on USA, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio), and this go-around the competitors will have to navigate the high-speed, door-to-door action for the first time ‘under the lights’ since the 1.54-mile track was recently reconfigured by narrowing the racing surface and raising the degree of banking in the Turns to 28 degrees.

SK Lights Receive Exciting Format Changes Ahead of Twisted Tea Fireworks Spectacular on Wednesday, June 21st

Barre, VT and Naples, ME — American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series Officials announced today a new format for the SK Light Modifieds at Thompson Speedway throughout the rest of the 2023 season. The purse for the open-wheeled division has been increased to $750-to-win each event, up from the previously $350-to-win regular breakdown, with the number of laps also increasing to now 30 lap features. Brian Sullivan Enjoying Return to SK Light Competition at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—After winning the SK Light championship in 2020 at Stafford Speedway and nearly going back to back in 2021, Brian Sullivan moved into the SK Modified® division for the 2022 season. Sullivan ran a partial schedule in 2022 thanks partly to a blown engine that left him with a decision to make for the 2023 season.
