Anthony Flannery Looking to Put Bad Luck Behind Him In Stafford’s Lincoln Tech Open 80

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Anthony Flannery and the #25ct Fowler’s Auto Wrecking / Belltown Recycling team, good luck has been hard to find in 2022 when racing Open Modifieds at Stafford Motor Speedway. With 50 cars on hand for the NAPA Spring Sizzler® in April, Flannery was able to earn a starting position but a wreck not of his own doing ended his run. Flannery is hoping to not only get a top-10 finish this Friday night, August 19, in the Lincoln Tech Open 80, but also make it to the checkered flag.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Open Modified cars returned to Stafford Motor Speedway for their fourth and final visit of the 2021 season on Friday, August 20th for the Lincoln Tech Open 80. NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Preece charged his way through the field over the final 31 laps after coming out of the pits during a caution period outside the top-10 to win the Lincoln Tech Open Modified 80. Anglace is currently in his third full season of SK Light competition at Stafford and the 2021 season has seen him notch his first two career SK Light victories. Sicard Opens White Mountain Season with Dominating Triple Crown Win

N. Woodstock, NH — Barton, VT’s Shane Sicard showed why he’s a three-time defending White Mountain Motorsports Park champion with a dominating victory in the J.P. Sicard Triple Crown Series on Saturday, May 8. Sicard took the lead from Marshfield, VT’s Matthew Potter on lap 6 of the 75-lap Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tiger feature and cruised to the win as part of the 29^th White Mountain Season Opener. Track Talk – Pandemic Forces First IndyCar Schedule Change / New Englanders Deegan and Logano Help Needy Families in NC

The Grand Prix of Long Beach has been rescheduled for Sept. 26 due the COVID-19 pandemic.

The legendary street course race was originally scheduled for April 18, but the new date will make it the NTT IndyCar Series season finale. It also creates a three-race, three weekend west coast swing to conclude the season. (more…)
