(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Todd Owen and the #81 Cooker Construction team, 2023 at Stafford Speedway was a historic season that saw Owen become the first driver in the 42-year history of the SK Modified® division to win three consecutive championships. The 2023 season also saw Owen finish in the top-10 in each of the 17 races held and extended a streak of consecutive top-10 finishes to 34 consecutive races, dating back to June of 2022.

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — Officials from the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced on Wednesday that with the continued support and numerous calls fielded by the two organizations for the new Sunoco 604 Modified Division at Thompson Speedway, the new division has been added to the Northeast Classic line-up for Saturday, April 13th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. (Stafford Springs, CT)—After 11 seasons of chasing the Late Model title at Stafford Speedway, Kevin Gambacorta and the #23 Lavigne Law team were finally able to lock down the championship in 2023. Gambacorta was already one of 14 drivers to have won Stafford track championships in different divisions but his Late Model title enters him into the Stafford record books as the first driver to have won a championship in three different divisions.
Barre, VT — As officials, teams and fans make their last-minute preparations for the holiday season, the American-Canadian Tour office released the Full Season Entry Form for the 2024 season ahead. The Full Season Entry entitles a team to all 13 American-Canadian Tour point-counting events during 2024 season for just $700, a $275 discount if mailed before March 1st. After March 1st, the Full Season Entry will be available for $1,000. East Kingston, New Hampshire’s Bryan Wall Jr. turned in the first official entry received at the ACT office on Monday.
(Stafford Springs, CT)—In a season that was filled with peaks and valleys for George Bessette, Jr., the driver of the #39 Lasco Roofing and Sheet Metal SK Light was able to take home the 2023 SK Light championship. The SK Light championship marks the second time Bessette has won a Stafford track championship with his first championship coming during the 2018 season in the Street Stock division.
The North/South Super Late Model Challenge returns to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, July 13 as the ASA/CRA Super Series and ASA Southern Super Series join forces for the event. (more…)
Barre, VT — After several years of continued growth for the famed Flying Tiger division at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl and White Mountain Motorsports Park, American-Canadian Tour Officials have announced a new Tri-State Series for the top support division. The Tri-State Flying Tiger Series will visit Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine in its inaugural 2024 season, the first time the Tigers have hit the touring circuit in over a decade. (more…)
