MODIFIEDS, MIDGETS & SUPERMODS: Open Wheel Wednesday Returns To Seekonk

SEEKONK, Mass. — The rumble and roar of the Modifieds, Midgets and Supermodifieds returns to Seekonk Speedway on Wednesday, June 28 as the annual Open Wheel Wednesday is set to rock. This special event will include a 100-lap, $10,000 to win Open Modified race, sanctioned again this year by the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series. It’s the 18th edition of the special event, with Matt Hirschman leading all active drivers into the race with five career wins, and Doug Coby not far behind with three.

A special Father’s Day edition of racing at White Mountain Motorsports Park proved just the right medicine after a week of unseasonably constant rain in the Granite State. Side-by-side battles were commonplace across the board as the season-long points chase came to the forefront of every driver’s mind with fans getting to experience old and new all together in year 64 high atop Quarry Hill.
