Kyle Steckly; Rette Jones Racing Set for Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville Showdown

NASHVILLE, Tenn: The checkered flag will fly for the final time this season for the ASA STARS National Tour in Sunday’s All-American 400 at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville with Rette Jones Racing and rookie Kyle Steckly looking to put an exclamation point on a solid inaugural season.

The driver and team will admit while showcasing speed when the gates opened for the season at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway in February, the duo had to exercise patience for the results.

Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is set for another historic All American 400 race weekend, this Friday-Sunday, November 1-3, 2024. It all begins with Late Model practice Friday afternoon leading into 1/4-mile championship racing Friday night. Then Saturday, GoFas pole qualifying will take place for the ASA STARS National Tour along with feature racing for the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour/Nashville Pro Late Models, CRA Street Stocks, and Vores Compact Touring Series. That all leads up to Sunday afternoon action for the Super Late Models in a 300-lap affair for $20k to win.

Irwindale Speedway To Close After 25 Years Of Racing, Demolition Derbies And More

Irwindale Speedway and Dragstrip has hosted NASCAR events, drag races and more for a quarter-center in the San Gabriel Valley.


The checkered flag is in sight for Irwindale Speedway after 25 years of NASCAR races, demolition derbies, drag racing, and other events at the San Gabriel Valley motorsports landmark.

The speedway and dragstrip about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles will close at the end of the 2024 season with a farewell event scheduled for Dec. 21, according to a statement posted Tuesday. (more…)

Kevin Harvick overcame a “deathly” illness to compete in the CARS Tour Super Late Model race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As he reflected on the experience during his podcast, Harvick admitted to the severe illness he and his team endured leading up to the race weekend. Despite battling intense nausea and discomfort, Harvick secured a remarkable fourth-place finish.

The CARS Tour West event was Harvick’s debut in this series, held at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Harvick, who retired from full-time NASCAR Cup Series racing, is enjoying his time in Late Model racing, a passion he shares with his son, Keelan. (more…)

$10k In Bonus Money Added To Super & Pro Purses At All American 400 Weekend Nashville

(Nashville, TN) Officials from the ASA STARS National Tour along with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have announced that $10,000 in bonus money has been added to the Super Late Model and Pro Late Model purses for the Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 by US Tank weekend, thanks to a generous community and race supporter. The bonuses have been added in part to raise awareness of the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee.

$5,000 has now been added to the winner’s share of the ASA STARS National Tour event on Sunday, November 3, which will now pay $20,000 to the winner. $1,000 has been added to the winner’s share of the Saturday night JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model 100 and will now pay $6,000 to win.
