Wiscasset Speedway Sends off 2024 Race Season with Annual Fall Fury Event

After 6 months of racing excitement, Wiscasset Speedway bid adieu to their 2024 race season on Saturday with their annual Fall Fury event. This year’s program included the Wicked Good Vintage Racers, the Ladies Acceleration Tour and a 150-lap Enduro.

The racing action kicked off with a 25-lap feature for the WGVR Late Models. Addison Bowie was a dominant force until lap 20, where he came to a slow on the track, causing the field to check up. George Haskell took over on the restart and never looked back, picking up the feature victory while Bobby Symonds and Parker Long rounded out the podium.

Wolcott’s Marcel Gravel Takes Career Defining, Emotional Win in 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl

Barre, VT — Following the annual pomp and circumstance of the annual season ending classic, the brave drivers of the American-Canadian Tour took on the first of three Segments in the 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank. Polesitter Gabe Brown jumped ahead to lead the pack early while collecting the first lap money of the event along with Marcel Gravel in second and Jimmy Hebert in third. Driving hard on the outside lane, Gravel launched to lead lap nine with Hebert and previous Milk Bowl winners Jason Corliss and Chris Pelkey in tow. A trio of mid-race, quick cycle cautions slowed the segment for heart-pounding restarts before Marcel Gravel claimed the opening segment win with Jason Corliss, Brown, Hebert and Pelkey rounding out the top five. 35th Annual Tribute To Tommy Druar And Tony Jankowiak Up Next For Race Of Champions Modified Series At Lancaster Motorplex For Rescheduled Race Sunday, October 13

– 110-lap Feature $5,000-to-Win for Race of Champions Modified Series –

Lancaster N.Y. – (October 7, 2024) – The Race of Champions Modified Series will make its second and final visit of the season to Lancaster (N.Y.) Motorplex this coming Sunday, October 13 for the rescheduled 35th Annual Tribute to Tommy Druar and Tony Jankowiak.

The Race of Champions Modified Series feature will compete in a 110-lap race with the ability to change one tire during the race. It will be the final race of the season, Zane Zeiner of Bath, PA, is seeking his second consecutive Series championship in a competitive season.

Perry, NY – (October 7, 2024) – Joe Evans of Holland, NY, started 9th, patiently worked his way through the field, took the lead late in the 75-lap feature and went on to win the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series portion of the traditional “Fall Shootout” at Wyoming County International Speedway “The Bullring” in Perry, NY, this past Saturday.

It was Evans first Series victory and it made him the 9th different winner for the 2024 season.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway will host NAPA Champions Night this Friday, Oct. 4 with the track crowning its 2024 champions.  Steven Chapman locked up the SK Light track championship with two wins last Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 & 28, including the 40-lap King of the Crate event.  With Chapman already knowing he is the 2024 SK Light champion, there are still 4 track titles to be decided in the SK Modified®, Late Model, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock divisions.
