Extra Prize Money Added to Pro Late Model Event October 5 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

(Nashville, TN) Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is down to the final two events of the 2024 racing season, as the track will next open back up for the Saturday, October 5 Breast Cancer Awareness race followed by the All American 400 weekend, the first weekend in November.

In hopes of making the October 5 race a bigger success and as a thank you to all of this year’s teams, race officials have added extra prize money to the October 5 Pro Late Model race. The 100-lap race will now pay $5,000 to win and $500 to start, giving teams a significant increase in prize money at the event which will be the final tune-up before the All American 400 weekend. On a picture-perfect evening, a standing room only crowd packed Riverhead Raceway for the final School Bus Demolition Derby of 2024. Prior to the mayhem, the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series was in action with Jeremy McDermott of Riverhead capturing the headline 40-lap Late Model feature event for his third win of the season.

Barre, VT — Terry Pearce and Paige Whittemore brought the rk Miles Street Stocks out of the pit area to lead Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night at Thunder Road with their 25-lap main event. The first caution on lap 4 spelled trouble for title hopeful Trevor Jaques while Pearce maintained the lead on the restart over Whittemore and Jamie Davis as title hopefuls Ryan Foster, Dean Switser and Josh Lovely began to breathe down their backs! Through it all, Terry Pearce would earn his second win of the season in style, dominating the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac trophy dash with Paige Whittemore and Jamie Davis joining him in victory lane. In the ASA STARS National Tour’s most recent race at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway, the pair of Steckly and Rette Jones Racing were able to take a mediocre rookie season and explode with a bombshell victory in the Redbud 400 at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway.

Joe Warren Jr & Brandon Hubbard Top Wednesday Night Winners At Riverhead Raceway

The annual Monster Truck Back to School program filled Riverhead Raceway Wednesday evening, during the program Joe Warren Jr. of Ridge was declared the 20-lap Mini Stock winner, while Brandon Hubbard scored his third Truck Enduro win of 2024. After seven action packed stock car events unfolded the KSR Monster Trucks took to the track and did not disappoint. Bad News Travels Fast got the fans on their feet when he slow-rolled his truck.

Grandview Speedway Hosting Triple-Header This Saturday Night – Freedom Weekend Of Racing September 20 & 21

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway will be presenting a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program this Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman along with a first time visit by the Pro4 Racing Series.

The show on Saturday, August 24 will include qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and a 25-lap feature for the Pro4 Racing Series Four Cylinder cars. (more…)

Kevin Gambacorta and Paul Varricchio, Jr. Lead Late Model Division Into Aug. 23 Double Header at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—With Stafford’s Late Model division set to partake in a double header this Friday, August 23^rd, the race for the championship is coming into focus. Kevin Gambacorta, the driver of the #23 Lavigne Law Chevrolet and Paul Varricchio, Jr., driver of the #39 Tavern on the Trax Chevrolet, kicked off the 2024 season racing one another for the season opening NAPA Spring Sizzler® victory and they are still the two drivers to beat in the race for the championship. Both Gambacorta and Varricchio opened the season with strong results, Gambacorta recording 6 consecutive podium finishes and 2 wins, and Varricchio recording 3 podium finishes, including his first career victory on May 31st, and they have continued to run well all season long as the only 2 drivers to record top-10 finishes in each of the first 11 races.
