Barre, VT — The all-important Booth Bros/Hood Vermont Milk Bowl Qualifying Day on Saturday, September 30 sets the stage for Sunday’s 61st Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank. Along with qualifying for the Vermont Milk Bowl and the Mini Milk Bowls, Saturday will also feature action-packed events for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models and the New England Supermodified Series (NESS).
Many local race tracks are beginning to crown their 2023 track champions, but Wiscasset Speedway still has a handful of weeks left on their calendar. With that being said, the track extended an invitation for all local drivers to come try their hand at Maine’s biggest and fastest oval this past weekend. Woodstock, NH — While Kasey Beattie clinched the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model King of the Mountain track championship at the beginning of the month with Kristian Switser having similar luck in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis that same event, the fight was on in the remaining divisions to crown their respective champions. (Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway hosted Maybury Kids Night on September 22 with Stafford’s five weekly divisions in feature action. Scoring feature wins were Todd Owen in the SK Modified® feature, Andrew Durand in the Late Model feature, Tyler Chapman in the SK Light feature, Damian Palardy in the Limited Late Model feature, and Ryan Waterman in the Street Stock feature. Kevin Gambacorta finished second in the Late Model feature which was good enough to clinch the 2023 Late Model championship with one race to go. (more…)
