Bubba Wallace Hopes To Rediscover Magic At Kansas Speedway
In the early days of the Next Gen era, 23XI Racing owned Kansas Speedway—from a performance standpoint, at least.
Kurt Busch claimed the 34th and final victory of his NASCAR Cup Series career in the first Gen 7 race at the 1.5-mile track in 2022. Later that year, Bubba Wallace won the Playoff event at Kansas as a non-Playoff driver.
PIT BOX: Whelen Modified Tour Roars Back Into New Hampshire’s Magic Mile

One of the most anticipated races of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season, the Mohegan Sun 100 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, is on the docket this Saturday morning at 9:15 a.m. ET live on FloRacing.
The race, which serves as the 13th of 16 events on the 2025 calendar, marks the 77th visit by NASCAR’s oldest division to the 1.058-mile oval located in Loudon, New Hampshire. Mike McLaughlin won the first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event held at the track in 1990 and is one of only 24 drivers to win with the series at the track.

Loudon, NH — Unseasonably warm weather greeted New England race fans at the Magic Mile on Saturday morning for the 5th annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. NHMS EVP/GM David McGrath Excited for 2025 NASCAR Playoffs Weekend at “The Magic Mile”
New Hampshire Motor Speedway will host the NASCAR Cup and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series during the Sept. 19-21, 2025 NASCAR Playoffs weekend, which will also feature the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
LOUDON, N.H. – New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath spoke to media Thursday following NASCAR’s 2025 schedule announcement, which includes a Sept. 19-21 visit to NHMS by the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS), NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT).
The 2025 NCS race at NHMS will kick off the Round of 12 on Sunday, Sept. 21 while the NCTS race will join the Mohegan Sun 100 NWMT race on Doubleheader Saturday, Sept. 20 and serve as a Round of 10 cutoff race to solidify the Round of 8.
New Hampshire’s Magic Mile & Giant Lobster Await the NASCAR Cup Series
While there might not be any wizards or witches casting spells this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, fittingly nicknamed the ‘Magic Mile,’ but there will be some enchanting short track racing and a dinosaur-sized lobster awarded in Victory Lane, in this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race, the USA TODAY 301 (on USA Network, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio this Sunday, June 23 at 2:30 p.m. ET).
