(October 14, 2024) – Fresh off the high of securing the Fanatec GT World Challenge America championship title and winning the Indianapolis 8 Hour, Wright Motorsports entered Petit Le Mans with high expectations for a strong finish to the season. Unfortunately, their hopes of celebrating on the podium at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta were shattered in the final hour. An incident with less than one hour remaining in the ten-hour IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race sidelined the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R with terminal damage. It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that we were kicking off the 2024 race season at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, but here we are, coming into Petit Le Mans, ready to wrap up the year with the 10-hour endurance racing extravaganza. With two of our three drivers in the No. 44 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and our shop being Atlanta-based, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is a home track for us. We’re going to be putting in a not-so-petite effort in this weekend to finish the season on a high note for John Potter, Andy Lally, Spencer Pumpelly, and our entire team. (more…)

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Winning Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing teams Winward Racing and Korthoff Preston Motorsports clinched the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GT Daytona (GTD) Manufacturer Championship right at the start of the Battle on The Bricks and then spent the remainder of the wet and wild six-hour endurance race closing in on more year-end team and driver honors Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). The No. 32 Korthoff Preston Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 finished third in GTD after co-drivers Mikael Grenier, Mike Skeen and Kenton Koch battled in the lead pack the entire race from the pole starting position. Porsche Penske Motorsport Again Fields Three Porsche 963 at Le Mans
Porsche Penske Motorsport will once again field three Porsche 963 race cars at the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans in the 2024 season. The organiser, ACO, confirmed today (Monday 19 February) that the Porsche works team will campaign a third car at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. French works driver Mathieu Jaminet will helm the No. 4 car, with the other drivers announced at a later date.
