NASCAR Xfinity Series: Martinsville Short Track To Host Playoffs Round of 8 Elimination Race
The NASCAR Xfinity Series wrapped up at Homestead-Miami Speedway last weekend and is now heading into its penultimate race of the season, the Dead On Tools 250 taking place at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, October 29 at 3 p.m. on NBC, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR radio.
The half-mile track located in Virginia has hosted 38 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, producing 24 different race winners and 19 different pole winners. The inaugural Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway was on March 28, 1982 and was won by Sam Ard.

RFK Racing and Fifth Third Bank to Honor Matt Kenseth at Martinsville
CONDORD, N.C. (Oct. 25, 2022) – RFK Racing and Fifth Third Bank will honor Matt Kenseth and his upcoming induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame with a special paint scheme on Chris Buescher’s No. 17 Ford at the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. Kenseth, who scored Jack Roush’s first Cup championship in 2003, originally piloted the No. 17 Fifth Third Bank Ford in 2012 and this weekend’s scheme will be a nod to that originally livery.

HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – With a fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship in reach, Justin Bonsignore heads to Martinsville Speedway this Thursday, October 27 for the season-finale. The three-time series champion enters the race 11-points behind Jon McKennedy, with Ron Silk in the middle of the two of them, six points back. Eric Goodale is fourth, 13 points from the lead – meaning all four of the contenders have a chance to win the driver’s title in the final race of the season.
