Rising star Derek Griffith is heading to Martinsville Speedway this Friday, April 8, to make his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start with Sam Hunt Racing in the Call 811 Before You Dig 250. Griffith finished 26th in his Xfinity Series debut driving the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra last weekend at Richmond Raceway, gaining crucial experience, which will help him rolling into the tight confines of Martinsville.

Martinsville gave us all we could want in a cut off race and more. The two drivers that led the most laps are moving on, but they didn’t win. A non-championship driver and three time race winner, not a hack, stayed competitive and saw a chance to win at the end and went for it.
