Justin Bonsignore Dominates Season Finale to Capture 2024 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Oct. 26, 2024) – Justin Bonsignore wasn’t going to be denied his fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship, as he dominated the season finale Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway to take home the Grandfather Clock and the year-end title.

The championship marks Bonsignore’s fourth title (2018, 2020, 2021, 2024), and the win – his first at Martinsville Speedway – gave him sole possession of second on the all-time Whelen Modified Tour wins list with 45.

Riverhead Raceway officials announced Tuesday morning that registration for the November 16th Islip 300 by HighMark Building Efficiency is now open and available for Modified Tour Type teams by visiting http://www.riverheadraceway.com. Registration is free of charge prior to Wednesday November 13th, a $100 fee per car number will be applies for late entrants.

Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. There is no shortage of star power as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to North Wilkesboro Speedway this Sunday for the Brushy Mountain Powersports 150.

Lancaster, NY – (October 11, 2024) – Lancaster (NY) Motorplex and Race of Champions management have agreed to cancel the 35th Annual Tribute to Tommy Druar & Tony Jankowiak for the Race of Champions Modified Series at Lancaster for Sunday, October 13.

The Race of Champions Modified Series was set to compete in the event on Sunday, October 13, however a forecast that shows inclement weather over an extended period of time in the Western New York region forced the cancelation of the event.
