Matt Galko Returning Home For NAPA Spring Sizzler at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Over the years at Stafford Motor Speedway, Matt Galko has proved to be a race-winning driver.   Galko scored back to back SK Light championships in his first 2 seasons of competition at Stafford in 2010 and 2011, winning 8 races between those championship seasons.  Galko added two more wins in the SK Modified® division from 2012-2019 before going Open Modified racing in 2020.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Since notching his first career win back in 2019, Matt Clement has twice come very close to winning a championship in Stafford Speedway’s Limited Late Model division.  Both seasons saw Clement finish behind Jeremy Lavoie with the margin 20 points this past season and only 4 points in 2019.  Clement is ready to once again be a championship contender in 2024 with his #59 Utility Service New England team.

The 50th running of the Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium Speedway in Wall, New Jersey was plagued by a number of caution flags throughout the event, but in the end it was pole-sitter ‘Big Money’ Matt Hirschman scoring his eight victory in the prestigious event at the 0.333-mile speedway. It was a successful racing weekend for two veteran drivers out of Pennsylvania, “Money” Matt Hirschman scored his ninth career win in the John Blewett III Memorial North-South Shootout at Caraway, NC Speedway, while Lou Strohl was victorious in the Tom Wanick Jr. Memorial King of the Green event at Evergreen, Pa. Raceway. Both drivers hope to ride a wave of momentum into the 7th annual Islip 300 this Saturday November 11th at Riverhead Raceway.
