(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted its first Friday night race of the 2022 season with a Kids Night / Weekly Series program on Friday, May 13^th. David Arute notched the SK Modified® feature victory, his second win in the last 3 races dating to the NAPA Fall Final last season; Kevin Gambacorta locked down the Late Model feature win, Tyler Chapman won the SK Light feature, Rich Hammann notched the Limited Late Model win, and Bobby Stirk, III was a first-time winner in the Street Stock feature. Thunder Series Opens At Grandview Speedway Sunday Night, May 29

BECHTELSVILLE, PA MAY 9, 2022 . . . . . The fast approaching Sunday, May 29 NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series opener will showcase the 358 Modifieds in the first time running of the Balls to the Wall 50, a very unique format and thanks to Pioneer Pole Buildings, there is a possible $13,000 payout to the winner. The SpeedSTR’s will join the card highlighted by a 25 lap feature paying $2,500 to win. GT Radiators of Ambler, PA, always great friends to Thunder on the Hill have posted $200 to the modified heat race and consi winner. Gates open at 5 PM and race time is set for 7:30 PM.

Can First Time WMT Winner Emerge From Miller Lite 200 At Riverhead Raceway May 14th

When looking ahead to the Miller Lite 200 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event Saturday May 14th at Riverhead Raceway it will be hard not to pick a tested tough WMT veteran for the win. However the quarter mile bullring has provided some surprise winners and results along the way in the previous 67 races and fans might even have to look past the 2022 WMT roster for a potential winner. Waterford Speedbowl Set for a May 7 Opener

Last Friday NLWS management had put out a post via social media thanking everyone for their patience while we finalize details for the 2022 race season at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. Since then, there has been reports circulating via social media that the track has been leased, not opening for 2022, and everything in between.
