Maybury Material Handling Delivers Big Bonuses for Stafford SK Modified and SK Light Winners in 2025

(Stafford Springs, CT) — For the 10th consecutive season, Maybury Material Handling of East Longmeadow, MA, will be a first-place contingency program partner at Stafford Motor Speedway. Maybury will present a weekly bonus of $150 to each SK Modified® winner and a $150 bonus to each SK Light feature winner during the 2025 season. With both the SK Modified® and SK Light divisions each having 22 races on the schedule, Maybury will contribute a total of $6,600, with each division having a winning driver’s pool of $3,300. Maybury Material Handling will also serve as the title sponsor of the August 29 Back to SKool Night Kids Night.

Hovey & Matthews Score Aug. 30 SK Light Feature Wins; Christopher, Gray, Winter, & Hydar Also Notch Maybury Kids Night Wins at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted Maybury Back to SKool Kids night with twin SK Light feature events on Friday, Aug. 30th. The big winners of the night were Nickolas Hovey and Chris Matthews, who split the SK Light features between themselves with Hovey notching his third win of the season and Matthews his second. Other feature winners were Michael Christopher, Jr. in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray in the Late Model feature, Matt Winter, II, and Travis Hydar. As part of Maybury Kids Night, there were two kids big wheel races and they were won by 6 year old Bentley Walmsley of Franklin and 5 year old Cole Frazier of Agawam, MA.

In the 40-lap SK Modified® feature, Dylan Kopec took the early lead while behind him Andrew Molleur moved into second, Marcello Rufrano third, Tyler Hines fourth, and Jon Puleo fifth. Steven Chapman got out of shape but gathered his car up and rejoined at the rear of the field as the race stayed green. (more…)

Ron Midford, Jr. Seeking First SK Light Victory in Aug. 30 Maybury Kids Night at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—With Stafford Speedway’s SK Light division partaking in double features this Friday night, Aug. 30th as part of Maybury Back to SKool Kids Night, Ron Midford, Jr. will be in search of his first SK Light victory with his #76 Constantine Paving and Sealing car. Midford is in the midst of his third full season of SK Light competition after winning 30+ features and 2 championships in the Senior Champs division of Wild Thing Karts and is looking to go one position higher after posting a career best finish of second place in the season opening NAPA Spring Sizzler® event. Owen, Durand, Chapman, Palardy, & Waterman Score Sept. 22 Maybury Kids Night Feature Wins at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway hosted Maybury Kids Night on September 22 with Stafford’s five weekly divisions in feature action. Scoring feature wins were Todd Owen in the SK Modified® feature, Andrew Durand in the Late Model feature, Tyler Chapman in the SK Light feature, Damian Palardy in the Limited Late Model feature, and Ryan Waterman in the Street Stock feature. Kevin Gambacorta finished second in the Late Model feature which was good enough to clinch the 2023 Late Model championship with one race to go. (more…)

Friday, September 8th Maybury Kids Night / TC 13 Shoot Out at Stafford Speedway Postponed Due to Rain

(Stafford Springs, CT)—The Friday, September 8th Maybury Kids Night / TC 13 Shootout program at Stafford Motor Speedway has been postponed due to rain and lightening in the area. The Maybury Material Handling Kids Night will be rescheduled to Friday, September 22nd while the TC 13 Shootout will be moved to NAPA Championship Night on September 29th. All tickets for September 8th will be good for either the September 22nd or September 29th event.

Maybury will present a bonus of $150 to each SK Modified® winner and a $150 bonus to each SK Light feature winner. With 22 SK Modified® races on the schedule, Maybury will contribute a total of $3,300 to SK Modified® feature winners and $3,150 to SK Light feature winners with 21 SK Light races scheduled.

Maybury will present a bonus of $150 to each SK Modified® winner and a $150 bonus to each SK Light feature winner. Maybury’s bonus money pushes the first place winner’s check for SK Modified® drivers up to $1,975 and each SK Light feature winner’s check to $650.
