Grenier, Miller Sr., Osborne, Beecher, and Leary Capture Hudson Championships!

Hudson, NH- While the racing season isn’t over yet the points racing season ended this past Sunday on a beautiful fall New England day. While Tyler Leary entered the day with the MacMulkin Chevrolet Sportsman Modified Championship all wrapped up, the same couldn’t be said for the rest of the divisions. Justin Beecher entered the day with a 26-point lead in the Northeast Auto Imports Super Streets; while Callie Osborne had a 10-point lead in the RaceDayTV Ridge Runners, Steve Miller Sr. was 18 points up in the Granite State Indoor Range Six Shooters points standings, and Carlos Grenier had the smallest points lead in the MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks with a 2 point advantage.

Saturday the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Riverhead Raceway will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Wayne’s 1994 WMT championship, coupled with his many Riverhead accomplishments with the Miller Lite Salutes Wayne Anderson 200.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour car owner Steve Mendoza, and five-time Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Tour Type Modified champion Tom Rogers Jr. of Riverhead announced Tuesday morning they are joining forces for the Miller Lite Salutes Wayne Anderson 200 WMT event Saturday May 18th. Owen Grennan And Sean Glennon Top Wednesday Night Miller Lite Triple Crown Series Events At Riverhead Raceway.

The work week was broken up for Long Island race fans with a special midweek program at Riverhead Raceway Wednesday evening with eight feature event presented including a School Bus Demolition Derby. Owen Grennan of Glen Cove topped the 40-lap Eagle Auto Mall Crate Modified event for his third win of 2022, while Sean Glennon of Northport scored his third Super Pro Truck win of the season in a 30-lap tilt. Both races were the second for each class in the Miller Lite Triple Crown Series and were originally schedule for July 16th before being rained out. (more…)
