CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 21, 2022 – The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America today announced it raised more than $1.8 million after finally completing its 26th Anniversary Ride following two postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This marks the most funds raised during a single Ride since 2006!
ESPN’s live telecast of the rain-delayed Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, May 29, averaged 1.4 million viewers, the largest live cable audience for the race on record and the second most-viewed live telecast of the historic race ever. Boone, IA – March 16, 2022 – The United States Motorsports Association (USMA) announced today the results of a new independent study conducted by the USMA and Robert Dunn, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Economics, and Leslie Dunn Ph.D., Associate Professor of Economics at Washington & Jefferson College. The study measured the economic impacts of the International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) annual Super Nationals event in Boone, Iowa. The report concluded the Super Nationals produces $60 million annually in economic benefits throughout the region and across the State of Iowa. (more…)
