Justin Bonsignore Heads To Martinsville Looking For Fourth NASCAR Whelen Mod Tour Title
HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – With a fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship in reach, Justin Bonsignore heads to Martinsville Speedway this Thursday, October 27 for the season-finale. The three-time series champion enters the race 11-points behind Jon McKennedy, with Ron Silk in the middle of the two of them, six points back. Eric Goodale is fourth, 13 points from the lead – meaning all four of the contenders have a chance to win the driver’s title in the final race of the season.
Dylan Slepian Scores Third Riverhead Mod Win Of Season
It was wall to wall racing Saturday evening at Riverhead Raceway with nine feature events totaling 270-laps presented before another large turnout. When the dust settled on the 50-lap NASCAR Modified feature Dylan Slepian of Dix Hills sat in the winners circle for the third time this season while in the companion 100-lap Eagle Auto Mall Crate Modified event Michael Berner of Patchogue notched his second win of the season.
