MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 2, 2022) – It’s official. Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be among the late model competitors at North Wilkesboro Speedway later this month. Today, the NASCAR Hall of Famer confirmed he’ll race a JR Motorsports entry in CARS Tour action during North Wilkesboro’s Racetrack Revival on Wednesday, Aug. 31. And he’ll do it with a familiar number and partner, dusting off the famed No. 3 and reuniting with iconic soda Sun Drop for the event.

Ryan Ware Nabs 1st White Mountain Late Model Victory on Midseason Championships

Cody Blake Goes Lights Out Over the Thunder Road Late Model Competition
Barre, VT — The month of June ended with the thunderous roar from high atop Quarry Hill in Barre, Vermont on Thursday, June 30th. At the end, it was four triumphant returns to victory lane as Williamstown’s Nate ‘Tater’ Brien, Plainfield’s Patrick Tibbetts, Barre’s Jason Pelkey and Montpelier’s Cody Blake all found victory lane once again, but for the first time in 2022. Donahue and Bouchard Dominate Double Late Model Features At Thunder Road
The fireworks started off early with the rain-postponed Casella Waste Management 50-lapper for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models. From the pole position hard-luck driver Scott Coburn led the early war but was overtaken by Memorial Day Classic winner Stephen Donahue on lap 15. Donahue continued to dominate through a lap-22 scramble in turn four between the 94VT of Brendan Moodie and the 0VT of Scott Dragon that took out contenders Brooks Clark and Bobby Therrien. (more…)
