Eighteen cars tried to beat the clock in time trials with Northampton, Pennsylvania’s Matt Hirschman taking the fast time of 11.611-seconds but the redraw determined a change in line-up. Hirschman spun the wheel for a top-eight redraw with Patrick Emerling drawing chip #1 to steal the pole starting spot under the green flag.

Craig Von Dohren of Oley, Pa. put an end to his personal win drought, scoring a thrilling win in the 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature race following a back-and-forth lead swapping duel with Brian Hirthler of Green Lane, Pa., then withstanding a late race charge from Brett Kressley of Orefield, Pa. to pick up the feature win.

The Classic was originally set for June 14, but due to an unfavorable forecast, the race was postponed.
