(Stafford Springs, CT)—When the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series comes to Stafford Speedway this Saturday, September 24 for the NAPA Fall Final, Chase Dowling, driver of the #9 Start/Finish Motorsports / S & S Asphalt Paving car, will be looking to return to his winning ways at Stafford. The 2021 season saw Dowling and the #9 team take back to back wins during the summer in open competition but 2022 has seen Dowling and the #9 team collect just one win thus far.

Doug Coby Grabs Top-Five Finish in Ed Partridge 256 at Riverhead Raceway
RIVERHEAD, N.Y. – Saturday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour visit to Riverhead Raceway ended with a top-five finish for Doug Coby.
Driving the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY, Coby qualified fourth for the Ed Partridge 256, and rode around the top-five for much of the night. With infield pitting a factor for the first time in the history of Whelen Modified Tour racing at Riverhead, the team completed a successful stop and Coby raced to a strong fourth-place finish.

WINCHESTER, N.H. – Both Todd Patnode and Tyler Leary celebrated Modified championships Saturday at Monadnock Speedway, with Patnode’s 100-lap Whitcomb 5 Race Series champion, and Leary, seventh on the day, securing the 2022 Monadnock Speedway track championship. (more…)
Justin Bonsignore Scores Ninth Riverhead Raceway WMT Win In Eddie Partridge 256 Saturday
Justin Bonsignore of Holtsville took the lead with 25-laps remaining in the Eddie Partridge 256 Saturday night and drove off his his ninth career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory. The win is the second in as many WMT races in the month of September for Bonsignore who won the September 3rd event at the Oswego Speedway and the late season hot streak has entrenched Justin into the tussle for the 2022 WMT drivers championship. Bonsignore rocketed to his third win of the season in the Toyota Budweiser Mod Classic 150 – holding off a late charge from Chuck Hossfeld to get back to Victory Lane.
