The closing weeks of every race season can be intense for many drivers due to tight championship battles in each division. Wiscasset Speedway made it their mission to make Saturday’s Group #2 racing action fun as they hosted the second Fan Appreciation night of the season. The night, sponsored by Bozzuto’s Inc., featured a driver meet and greet session before the races followed by childrens bike races, where some drivers joined in on the fun.

Justin Bonsignore Scores Ninth Riverhead Raceway WMT Win In Eddie Partridge 256 Saturday
Justin Bonsignore of Holtsville took the lead with 25-laps remaining in the Eddie Partridge 256 Saturday night and drove off his his ninth career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory. The win is the second in as many WMT races in the month of September for Bonsignore who won the September 3rd event at the Oswego Speedway and the late season hot streak has entrenched Justin into the tussle for the 2022 WMT drivers championship. Doug Coby Looks For Another Triumph With Tommy Baldwin Racing at Riverhead
MILFORD, Conn. – Earlier in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season, Doug Coby parked the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY in Victory Lane at Riverhead Raceway. The six-time Whelen Modified Tour champion’s victory in May was his third career at the New York quarter-mile, all coming within his last five starts.

Thompson Speedway Set To Roar Back To Life Wednesday For Tripoint Showdown 75
Barre, VT and Naples, ME — For the final time on a Wednesday night in 2022, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park will roar back to life tomorrow, September 14. The .625-mile oval will play host to another round of action for the Outlaw Open Modified Series in the Tripoint Showdown 75, worth $5,000 to the winner. The event also includes double feature races for the Limited Sportsman (20 laps each), along with the Late Models, Mini Stocks and SK Light Modifieds.
