Devil’s Bowl Speedway Makes Late-Season Schedule Changes

LaDuc Wins as Point Battle Heats Up at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim LaDuc saw an opportunity present itself at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, September 11, and he seized it. The veteran dirt Modified racer from Orwell, Vt., grabbed his second win of the season on Heritage Family Credit Union “Member Night” and is now in the hunt for his first track championship in 21 years. Season On A Somber Saturday Night At Riverhead Raceway
Despite the unthinkable tragic loss of Riverhead Raceway owner Eddie Partridge less than 24 hours prior the decision on whether to run Saturday night’s Tribute To Heroes by Optimum Business would have to be made. During the process those involved asked themselves one question. What would Eddie do? The answer was clear, he’d race and so the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program was presented as scheduled. The SK Modified® division ran their regularly scheduled 40-lap feature as well as the 3rd Annual TC 13 Shootout, a 13-lap race contested between the top-13 finishers from the 40-lap feature that paid the winner an extra $1,313 from a purse of over $7,000.
