(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted Spear Bro’s Kids night on Friday, September 20th.  Feature winners on the night included Todd Owen in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray in the Late Model feature, Tyler Chapman in the SK Light feature, RJ Surdell in the Limited Late Model feature, and Tyler Trott in the Street Stock feature.  As part of Spear Bro’s Kids Night, there were two kids big wheel races and they were won by 7 year old Jordan Dion of Canton and 5 year old Jack Webber of Longmeadow, MA. Ron Silk Looking to Continue Stafford Success in NAPA Fall Final

(Stafford Springs, CT)—After winning the NAPA Spring Sizzler® in April and the GAF Mod Masters in July at Stafford, Ron Silk and the #16 Blue Mountain Machine / Future Homes team owned by Tyler Haydt and Joe Yannone will head into Saturday, September 28 NAPA Fall Final looking for their third consecutive 2024 victory at the Connecticut half-mile.  Silk has been the hottest Open/Monaco Modified driver at Stafford, not named Woody Pitkat, as he has 4 wins and 6 podium finishes in his last 7 starts at Stafford dating back to the 2022 NAPA Spring Sizzler®.  Despite Silk not being a regular weekly racer at Stafford, he has a high level of confidence each time he comes through the Stafford gates to race and he is eager to continue his winning ways when he takes to the track on Sept. 28.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The 62nd anniversary season of auto racing action at Grandview Speedway moves into the 54th annual Freedom 76 race weekend, the biggest, most prestigious, and most lucrative racing of the year for competitors.

The Freedom 76 weekend begins this Friday, September 20 with the 11th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship race, along with qualifying events, plus practice time for Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.

Friday’s program will be known as Fans for Five Friday as the grandstand admission is just $5, while children ages 9 and under will be free of charge. Pit admission on Friday is $40, and no license is required. (more…)

North East, Pa. – (September 17, 2024) – Luke Baldwin of Mooresville, NC, who won the Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams “King of the Modifieds” race earlier this season at South Boston (VA) Speedway will be competing at Lake Erie Speedway in the “Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing” this Sunday in the VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250.

It will be Baldwin’s first visit to the facility aboard his families famous 7NY racecars, which are now owned by his father, Tommy, Jr.
