Race of Champions Weekend Moved Due to Inclement Weather and Predicted Cold Conditions

North East, PA – (April 10, 2024) – Race of Champions Series management, in conjunction with Lake Erie Speedway and streaming partners Racing America have made the decision to adjust the schedule and postpone the Race of Champions 250 once again. A rescheduled date will be announced in the future.

Rain Pushes Back Northeast Classic By One Day, Now Saturday & Sunday Show At New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — After watching the forecast, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have pushed the Northeast Classic back by one day this coming weekend. Instead of the originally scheduled Friday Practice and Saturday Race dates originally scheduled, the Northeast Classic will now begin with Practice Day on Saturday, April 13 and the 4th annual Northeast Classic will now be contested on Sunday, April 14. As such, camping will also be pushed back one day and campers can start parking on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm. (more…)

Matt Galko Returning Home For NAPA Spring Sizzler at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Over the years at Stafford Motor Speedway, Matt Galko has proved to be a race-winning driver. Galko scored back to back SK Light championships in his first 2 seasons of competition at Stafford in 2010 and 2011, winning 8 races between those championship seasons. Galko added two more wins in the SK Modified® division from 2012-2019 before going Open Modified racing in 2020.

Ron Silk Dominates Thompson’s NASCAR Modified Icebreaker 150

Thompson, CT — A much nicer day awaited fans on day two of the 50th Icebreaker at Thompson Speedway. Six star-studded features took to the 0.625-mile oval on Sunday, as did the peaks of sunshine to greet the fans in the stands. While the Street Stocks were able to start their 2024 track championship season on Saturday, the rest of the track championship line-up got their year started with plenty of action on Sunday along with the roar of the mighty NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour with their return to Icebreaker weekend. Griffith and Stone Take Icebreaker Victories, Mother Nature Steals the Sunshine At Thompson

Thompson, CT — A partly cloudy day was had at Thompson Speedway’s Saturday opener to the 50th Icebreaker weekend with plenty of rain to darken the spirits on an exciting opening day schedule of events. The crew at Thompson Speedway kept the track dry enough to get in full feature events for both the Thompson Street Stocks and the PASS Super Late Models but the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series was a casualty to the rain and will be postponed to the Friday of World Series weekend on October 11. The 50-lap extra distance SK Modified® feature event will be the first of two extra distance races for Stafford’s premier SK Modified® division in 2024 with the 11^th Annual NAPA SK 5k set to take place on August 2nd. The CBYD Senator’s Cup will feature a purse of over $10,000 with the race winner guaranteed to go home with at least $1,550.
