(Stafford Springs, CT)—Over the past 2 seasons at Stafford Speedway, when it comes to extra distance racing in the SK Light division, Brian Sullivan and the #46 Monaco Ford team have been the combination to beat. Sullivan swept a pair of 40-lap feature events during the 2023 season and he is the defending champion of the Monaco Ford Double Down. With Monaco Ford sponsoring this Friday night’s 40-lap feature event as well as sponsoring his #46 car, Sullivan has some extra motivation to take home yet another extra distance checkered flag.

Barre, VT – The mighty Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series is ready to make its 4th annual trip to the Nation’s Site of Excitement, Thunder Road for the Granite City 100 as part of the 62nd running of the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic this Sunday, May 25!
The Modifieds have a long but often underrated history in the Green Mountain State. The powerful NASCAR Modifieds were first introduced to Thunder Road in 1965 in a short head-to-head season with the Flathead V-8 Coupes that put the Nation’s Site of Excitement on the map in the early days of Thursday Night racing at the facility. The Modifieds were short-lived to the Spring of ’65 with Coupe drivers and fans alike nearly in revolt but found a home in the often-remembered Catamount Stadium for several seasons afterward while making here-and-there appearances at Devil’s Bowl and Thunder Road over the years.

Thompson, CT — Ronnie Williams and Stephen Kopcik brought the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series to green for the RaceChoice.com 75 Wednesday night with Williams taking the early lead ahead of Patrick Emerling. After peeking to the inside, Emerling finally made the turn-three power-move to lead lap 18 before Joey Mucciacciaro’s hard lick with the third turn wall. With the choose-cone in play, Jake Johnson nabbed the lead on the ensuing restart underneath Emerling as Ron Silk entered the top three picture. Hard contact between Silk and Emerling in turn four on lap 40 saw both right their open-wheeled machines but it was Silk gaining the on-track advantage to begin knocking down Johnson’s seven-car-length lead.

Barre, VT – Thunder Road Speedbowl and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials announced this morning that the 27th annual Community Bank 150, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 4, has been postponed due to the forecast. The Community Bank 150 has been moved to Sunday, June 1 with all four originally-scheduled divisions. All Pit Passes purchased for the originally scheduled event will be honored on June 1, teams must keep and present them at the gate as their rain-check.

Thompson, CT — One-hundred and fifty-eight stock cars from across the eastern United States and Canada converged on Thompson Speedway for the opening of the 51st Icebreaker highlighted by seven different divisions to get the season rolling on high. (more…)
A busy three-race weekend for rising driver Luke Baldwin will bring him over 700 miles across the East Coast – nevermind over 400 laps on the track. Baldwin will compete in three different events at two different tracks – Martinsville Speedway and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park – in both a Truck and a Modified.
Baldwin will drive three different cars in the three events.
Modified and Supermodified winner Jon McKennedy announced Thursday a busy schedule for the 2025 racing season. Again for 2025, McKennedy will compete in both the Tour-Type Modifieds and the Supermodifieds, mixed between multiple different divisions with both classes.
Between all divisions, McKennedy has roughly 35 races planned.
