If you’re a motorsports fan—or even a casual car enthusiast—be honest: You’ve watched F1, NASCAR, or another racing series and had the thought, ‘I could do that; all they’re doing is driving a car!’

Well, as professional drivers, we’ve always dealt with this by rolling our eyes and attempting to explain that driving your street car isn’t even using 1% of its capability. I always found this to be an inadequate way to try to prove it’s not as simple as it looks and that professionals make it look far easier than it is. (more…)

Three Race Indoor Auto Racing Series Ends With Ryan Flores Collecting Biggest Chunk Of Over $100,000 In Prize Money

Trenton, NJ – The checkered flag has fallen on the 2025 Indoor Auto Racing Championship Series, with over $100,000 in prize money distributed among the 244 competitors who registered for the events.

The three-race series, held in Northeast arenas, featured two events on concrete surfaces: the Ironton Global Allentown Indoor Race at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA on January 3-4, followed by the NAPA Auto Parts Atlantic City Indoor Races at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on January 31 and February 1. $10k In Bonus Money Added To Super & Pro Purses At All American 400 Weekend Nashville

(Nashville, TN) Officials from the ASA STARS National Tour along with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have announced that $10,000 in bonus money has been added to the Super Late Model and Pro Late Model purses for the Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 by US Tank weekend, thanks to a generous community and race supporter. The bonuses have been added in part to raise awareness of the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee.

$5,000 has now been added to the winner’s share of the ASA STARS National Tour event on Sunday, November 3, which will now pay $20,000 to the winner. $1,000 has been added to the winner’s share of the Saturday night JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model 100 and will now pay $6,000 to win. Thompson, CT — The American-Canadian Tour got the second day of the Sunoco World Series off to a strong start with their Sunoco World Series 75. Brandon Barker and Tom Carey III lead the way to the green flag just before former Thompson Late Model champion Brian Tagg dove sideways across the frontstretch grass to call out the lone caution. The international roster of drivers kept it lean and green after that, even as several drivers fell out with mechanical issues throughout the 75-lap sprint. In the end, Tom Carey III backed up his September extra-distance win to claim his third career American-Canadian Tour win in the ‘Brookside Ride’ while former Seekonk Speedway champion Ryan Kuhn kept him honest, following just a car-length behind through the second half of the event to claim second. Polesitter Brandon Barker held on to take third over Quebec’s Jonathan Bouvrette. (more…)

This Saturday, August 31 will feature the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman in another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program starting at 7:30 pm.
