Proclamation recognizes Mooresville-based organization for three-consecutive NASCAR Cup Series titles

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 19, 2025) – This evening, Team Penske, drivers Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney, and members of the Nos. 12 and 22 NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) teams were honored by Mooresville Mayor Chris Carney and the Town Board of Commissioners in a proclamation ceremony held at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in downtown Mooresville. The recognition comes on the heels of three-consecutive NCS championships for the organization and honors the commitment of Team Penske to the Town of Mooresville.

Port City Race Cars Joins American-Canadian Tour as Contingency Partner Through 2027

Barre, VT — With the New Year comes new partnerships for 2025 and beyond for the American-Canadian Tour. Port City Race Cars, with locations in Mooresville, North Carolina and South Paris, Maine, have signed on as an Official Contingency Partner with the international touring series for the next three years. As part of their program, Port City will award a $50 merchandise certificate to the tenth-place finisher in each point counting event on the American-Canadian Tour starting Sunday, April 13 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Gil De Ferran, Tim Lombardi Inducted Into Team Penske Hall Of Fame

Late Champion Driver and Key Team Member Honored as 2024 Class

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 23, 2024) – In what has become an annual, year-end tradition, Team Penske announced the ninth class of the Team Penske Hall of Fame that was inducted at the organization’s holiday party on Thursday, December 19th. Two-time INDYCAR SERIES Champion and 2003 Indianapolis 500 winner Gil de Ferran and longtime team member Tim Lombardi form this most recent class to the Hall of Fame that began in 2016.

Patrick Emerling capitalized on a late race move that saw race leaders Ryan Preece and Ron Silk come together and spin right before rain hit Stafford Motor Speedway to inherit the lead and win the 49^th Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler, which was called with 130 of 150 laps complete.
