N. Woodstock, NH — A capacity crowd filed into White Mountain Motorsports Park for Sunday’s special matinee headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. The inaugural Thunder in the Mountains 200 was a game of strategy for the Mighty Modifieds with a sixth different winner standing in NASCAR victory lane.

The thrilling return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in the inaugural Thunder in the Mountains 200 will now be held on Sunday, June 29 with a 12:05pm Start Time and a 2:30pm Green Flag for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour return! Rain forecasted for Saturday has pushed both NASCAR and White Mountain officials to make the decision to postpone by just one day to Sunday, June 29.

N. Woodstock, NH — Racing has finally gotten underway for the first time in two weeks at White Mountain Motorsports Park, much to the excitement of race fans, drivers and officials alike. In the end, four elated winners stood in Milton CAT victory lane.
Saturday’s short track racing action started off with the rain-delayed HK Powersports feature event for the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis. The rain delay certainly helped sophomore competitor Landyn O’Donnell who fired off from the front row and never looked back, even after the spinning rookie Hayden Morris brought out the lone caution on lap 17. O’Donnell would nail down his second career win in the Strictly Mini class with Vermont invader Kyler Davis and Tyler Thompson rounding out the podium.

Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park fans, drivers and officials did their best to fight off the rainy forecast on Saturday to kick off the 33rd season of Thunder in the Mountains with the help of HK Powersports. Eighty-five cars packed in for Saturday morning’s car show before practicing the afternoon away on the North Woodstock highbanks.

Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park officials have been excitedly receiving a growing amount of Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger license applications at the American-Canadian Tour offices in Barre, Vermont. Woodstock, NH — While Kasey Beattie clinched the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model King of the Mountain track championship at the beginning of the month with Kristian Switser having similar luck in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis that same event, the fight was on in the remaining divisions to crown their respective champions. Fight they did, right to the final lap to close out the 2023 White Mountain Motorsports Park season in style.(more…)
