CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 2, 2025 – Former NASCAR driver and racing analyst Kyle Petty is revving up for the cause once again to lead the 29th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America – one of the most popular charity rides in the country. From May 3 – 9, 2025, Petty will lead 225 motorcycles on a 1,400-mile route in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Victory Junction – a camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with serious and chronic medical conditions.
BREAKING: NASCAR Moves Up Start of DAYTONA 500
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 14, 2025) – Due to potential weather forecasted for the Daytona Beach area late Sunday, NASCAR today announced the DAYTONA 500 will move up one hour from its originally scheduled time to now begin at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Gates and hospitality will now open at 9 a.m. ET, and the Hard Rock Bet Fanzone will open at 8:30 a.m. ET. Parking lots will open at 6 a.m. ET.

Atlanta Motor Speedway Moves to Second on the NASCAR Cup Schedule
This season Atlanta Motor Speedway returns to the second race of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for the first time since 2019. Previously, the historic 1.54-mile track served as the follow-up event to the season-opening DAYTONA 500 from 2015-2019, but this is the first time the track has hosted the second race of the season since being reconfigured to run the superspeedway package on the cars. In total, Atlanta Motor Speedway has occupied 30 different positions on the NASCAR Cup schedule since joining the series in 1960.
