German freestyle motocross rider Luc Ackermann has completed a feat that would challenge even the sharpest physics student.
He jumped from one moving lorry to another, clearing a 9-metre-high motorway barrier with just half a second to spare. The achievement combined athletic skill, precise timing, and scientific calculation.

Rackley W.A.R. announced today that it will be moving its entire team operations from the current shop in Tennessee to North Carolina during the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series offseason. The move comes at the conclusion of the organization’s fourth full-time season competing in the Truck Series.
Moving into the GMS Fabrication Building in Statesville, NC offers expanded workspaces to improve efficiency in the shop day-to-day. After making her way through the ranks of dirt racing and stock car racing, Hailie Deegan will shift her focus to open-wheel racing in 2025, competing in INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports.
Deegan will drive the No. 38 entry for the full 14-race calendar of INDY NXT, the INDYCAR development series. Deegan, 23, becomes the fifth confirmed driver for HMD Motorsports, joining teammates Caio Collet, Josh Pierson, Tommy Smith and Bryce Aron and will join her teammates at the Chris Griffis Memorial Test on Friday, Oct. 18 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. LOUDON, N.H. – NASCAR roars back to Loudon in a big way in 2025 with New England’s only NASCAR weekend moving to the Playoffs Sept. 19-21, and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) joining the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). The NCS will kick off the Round of 12 while the NCTS drivers will battle it out to remain above the cut line for the Round of 8.
“The two questions fans ask me the most are ‘When are we getting a September race back?’ and ‘When are we getting the Trucks back?’, and now we have both,” said New Hampshire Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath. “We are so thankful to our loyal fans who have supported us during NASCAR’s annual summer stop in New Hampshire, but they wanted this, they deserve this, and we are ecstatic to not only be returning to the NASCAR Playoffs, but we are thrilled to host the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series as well.

Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials were stunned and disappointed to learn last Thursday afternoon of the cancellation of the 2024 SRX Series season. Tony Stewart’s all-star summer racing series is moving to ESPN and a new night as the network plans to use SRX to revitalize its “Thursday Night Thunder.”
ESPN said Monday it signed a multi-year agreement with Superstar Racing Experience that begins in July. SRX will air on six consecutive [Thursday] nights as “Thursday Night Thunder,” which was ESPN’s branding for motorsports programming that started in the 1980s. (more…)
