Ty Gibbs, grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs, made history last weekend at the Daytona Road Course. Gibbs, who was making his first career start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, won the race in the No. 54 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing and added his name to the list of drivers that won in their first Xfinity start. Reuse Brothers to Compete in Partial Truck Series Schedule for Jordan Anderson Racing in 2021
STATESVILLE, N.C. (February 18, 2021) – Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) announced today that brothers Bobby Reuse and Roger Reuse from Birmingham, Alabama will split a partial season driving the organization’s flagship No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series (NCWTS) in 2021.
Bobby will make his initial NCWTS start Feb. 19 at the Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway Road Course in the BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 with support from the restaurant chain I Heart Mac & Cheese and More, along with JAR team partners Bommarito Automotive Group and Lucas Oil. Every season (1995-2021), except a small stint between 2001-2012, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has had a road course on the schedule in some form or fashion. This season, the series has embraced road racing like never before. The 2021 Truck Series schedule has four road courses listed – Daytona Road Course, Circuit of The Americas (COTA), Watkins Glen International and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park – the most of any season in series history.
