Denny Hamlin is a two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner at Michigan International Speedway after posting wins in 2010 and 2011. In 33 career starts at the two-mile track, Hamlin has earned 12 top-five finishes, 18 top-10s, one pole award, and 263 laps led. The first came in 2021 as a substitute in the No. 7 entry for driver Corey LaJoie. Berry started 24th and finished 26th. He returned in 2023 in the No. 42 Legacy Motor Club entry and started 35th but saw his day end on lap 50 of the scheduled 200-lap race after being involved in an on-track incident. (more…)
Sheldon Creed and the No. 18 GR Supra crew return from the Xfinity Series’ three-week hiatus to run the Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway. Creed has two prior NXS starts at the 2-mile oval and has finished just shy of the top 10 both times, as he scored finishes of 11th and 12th in his two starts, respectively. Creed is familiar with victory lane in the Irish Hills as he scored an ARCA Menards Series victory at the track in 2018. (more…)

International Speedway is Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, where Ryan Preece and his fellow NASCAR Cup Series competitors will get to stretch their racing legs this weekend before heading to “The World Center of Racing” for the penultimate race of the regular season. William Sawalich has won his last two AMS outings. The most recent came in at his home track – Elko Speedway. The win was a big one for the local 17-year-old driver. Sawalich dominated the day, leading practice, earning the pole, and leading the first 149 laps before he was spun by a lap car. Despite damage to the car, Sawalich came through the field to battle for the lead on the final restart, securing the win at the checkered flag in a photo finish. (more…)

Taylor Gray has run eight NXS with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) this season, with a best finish of third in his series debut at Richmond. Gray’s last race with JGR was at Pocono where he earned his second top-five finish of the season. The 19-year-old secured his spot in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) Playoffs last weekend in the regular season finale and will have a chance to compete for the series championship. (more…)
