It appears there is a new road course ringer in the NASCAR Xfinity Series – JR Motorsports’ Sam Mayer. The 20-year-old driver, Mayer, had a dominate performance on the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, leading 50 of the 67 laps and snagging the win by .909 seconds over runner-up Cole Custer.
The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series competitors have one more week to prepare and go over strategy before heading to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Baptist Health 200 and Round of 8 finale (Saturday, October 21 at 12 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio).

CHARLOTTE, NC (Oct. 10, 2023) – The Race Team Alliance (RTA), in conjunction with its member teams announces the inaugural Racers Forum presented by R3, to be held at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte on Oct. 17, 2023. The event will be a premier business conference for the racing industry, featuring NASCAR Teams, Tracks, Executives and Partners. The private event will provide the motorsports industry with an environment to interact in a causal, yet accessible setting through a series of panel discussions with industry leaders.
Thompson, CT — While sunshine brought fans and teams back to Thompson Speedway in droves to wrap up the 2023 season at the 5/8-mile oval, both groups were also welcomed with good news. It was announced at the drivers meeting on Sunday that the partnership between the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series organizations will continue to lease the Thompson Speedway oval for the 2024 season.
