OL’ BOY CUP X Up Next For Race Of Champions Modified Series At Lancaster Motorplex This Thursday, June 26

LANCASTER, N.Y. – The Race of Champions Modified Series returns to Lancaster Motorplex this Thursday, July 2 for the tenth running of the Ol’ Boy Cup, a 60-lap sprint event paying $5,000 to win.

The Ol’ Boy Cup IX marks the Series’ first appearance at the half-mile asphalt oval this season, bringing top-tier Modified action to one of the region’s most storied venues.

Paulie Hartwig, III, of Galloway, N.J., heads into the event with momentum after capturing his first-ever Race of Champions Modified Series victory this past Saturday at Evans Mills Raceway Park.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It is no secret that the surrounding Berks County region could use some rain, but it does not have to happen on race day Saturdays!

On and off late morning and afternoon rain showers, which were predicted to continue until close to race time, leaving no time to prepare the track for the evening’s program, caused the cancellation of the race event scheduled for Saturday night June 27 at Grandview Speedway.

Super Late Models Next Weekend Head For Oxford Plains Speedway In Maine

Over 40 drivers have entered the PASS 400, a race with a tradition dating back to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, but with a huge difference for this year’s race. The race will total 400 laps, split into three segments at 100, 100, and 200 laps respectively, each paying $25,000 to win, with the overall winner collecting an additional $25,000 for having the lowest average finish from each of the three segments. The first Playoff race of the SMX Next World All-Stars has been completed inside The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, where rising Australian prospect Kayden Minear dominated every lap of the 8 Minute + 1 Lap moto to capture his second SMX Next victory, following a triumph at the SMX Next – Scouting Moto Combine at Hangtown. SMX Next World All-Stars to Contest Doubleheader in St. Louis

Back-to-Back Days of Racing Will See Top Prospects Compete for Victory on Friday & Saturday, with SMX Next World Championship No. 1 Plate Up for Grabs

Following the postponement of the opening SMX Next World All-Stars race this past weekend in Concord, North Carolina, the elite athletes that comprise the field of prospects contesting the postseason will travel to St. Louis for an action-packed weekend inside The Dome at America’s Center. A two-day doubleheader has been announced for the World All-Stars, with the Playoff 1 race scheduled for this Friday, September 12, followed by the second, championship-deciding Playoff 2 race on Saturday, September 13, run in conjunction with SMX World Championship Playoff 2. The pair of races will determine which athlete will emerge with the SMX Next World Championship No. 1 Plate. Timed qualifying sessions will be held on both Friday and Saturday to set the field for each respective Playoff race.

Grandview Speedway Saturday Races Fall To Stormy Weather – Championship Night Next Up On September 13 – Freedom 76 Weekend On September 19 & 20

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following eleven straight weeks of racing action, stormy weather won out on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, causing the cancellation of the planned racing program.

With scattered thunderstorms developing throughout the area during the afternoon hours, and stronger storms predicted for arrival at race time in the evening, management made the difficult decision to cancel the evening’s program, giving consideration to the longer distance traveling teams, especially in the visiting division.
