Action will be at a premium Saturday September 4th at Riverhead Raceway as track owners Eddie & Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz have lined up eight feature events for the night’s NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program including the annual Cromarty Wall of Champions inductions. With children on Long Island slated to return to school the following week what better way to send them into a new academic year then with a bang provided by a School Bus Demolition Derby that concludes the action packed show. Corliss Set Mark with Fifth Late Model Win of Season on Jet Service Night

Barre, VT — Barre’s Jason Corliss made Thunder Road history by capturing his fifth Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model win of the season at Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night on Thursday, August 26. Corliss snatched the lead from Orange’s Chip Grenier with 14 laps to, then outlasted a charge by Montpelier’s Kyle Pembroke down the homestretch in front of one of the season’s largest crowds.

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The hot and humid weather turned into a hot night of dirt track racing action at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 21 as new sponsor 2nd Amendment Shooting Supplies of Brandon, Vt., presented the event. Spats of rain delayed the start of the event by nearly an hour and left the track surface fast and sticky, and the busy night saw nine different drivers visit victory lane. (more…)

Saddled with starting 12th in Saturday night’s Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified feature didn’t deter John Baker of Brookhaven from racing to his second win of the season on I Love American night at Riverhead Raceway as he won the 50-lap feature event. (Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to racing action on Friday, July 23 with the 5th Annual Dunleavy’s Modifiedz Night.  Stafford’s SK Lights took center stage with a 40-lap feature that paid over $13,000 in total posted awards.  Derek Debbis won the Dunleavy’s Modifiedz Night feature for the second consecutive season and in the process, he took home $5,600 in purse and contingency money thanks to the Dunleavy’s Gamblers Challenge bonus of $3,750.
