One for the record books, a Porsche car stood atop the podium in 50 different open competition races. Wins came from behind the wheel in the 963 prototype, the 911 GT3 R, and the 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport at tracks across the country.
Rackley W.A.R. announced today that it will be moving its entire team operations from the current shop in Tennessee to North Carolina during the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series offseason. The move comes at the conclusion of the organization’s fourth full-time season competing in the Truck Series.
Moving into the GMS Fabrication Building in Statesville, NC offers expanded workspaces to improve efficiency in the shop day-to-day. (Oct. 26, 2024) – NASCAR today announced an extension of the entitlement partnership of its original series as Whelen Engineering, Inc. returns to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour through 2029 in a partnership that guarantees increased team payouts starting with the 2025 season. In conjunction with the announcement, NASCAR released the 16-race 2025 Whelen Modified Tour schedule.

SMART Modified Tour, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Wins in North Carolina
Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. There is no shortage of star power as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to North Wilkesboro Speedway this Sunday for the Brushy Mountain Powersports 150.
Headlining the entry list are two NASCAR Cup Series legends – 2008 Daytona 500 winner Ryan Newman and 2000 series champion Bobby Labonte. Newman is piloting the No. 77 Modified for Mike Curb, while Labonte is in the No. 38 for Sadler-Stanley Racing. (more…)
